There is no need to worry as this programme will support new business start-up owner with writing their business plan.
In this phase of the programme will cover business plan creation. A business plan outlines what your business does and what you are trying to achieve.
Creating a Business Plan helps you:
· Check that your idea makes sense.
· Plan your sales, marketing, and business operations.
· Identify problems and how to overcome them.
· Set out your objectives and the financial return you expect.
· Work out what financing you need.
· Convince other people to back your business.
Programme Phase: Financial Accounting
Programme Phase: 9 months
The New Business Start-up Programme will help new business start-up owners to understand financial accounting. Financial accounting helps business start-up owners understand the core purposes and why financial accounting is used.
In this phase of the programme will cover financial accounting understanding. The areas of focus for financial accounting in this phase are:
· Balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
· Debits and credits
· Accounting systems and financial statements: the basics.
· Depreciation
· Cost of goods sold.
· Cashflow flow statements
During this phase you will learn the main purpose of accounting. The main users of accounts and why they need accounting statements. The differences between financial accounting and management accounting. Accounting is concerned with reporting on the effects of past decisions.
